For camping, a cooler needs to be easy to carry, compact and good at keeping things cold. That’s exactly what this lightweight VIP is designed for:
Low thermal conductivity: just 0.0055~0.0065 W/(m·K), around 1/6~1/7 that of EPS (0.038), and 1/4 that of rigid PU foam (0.024). Thinner walls can deliver several times the insulation performance of conventional materials.
A seriously light core: just 42±5 kg/m³, around 1/7 the density of conventional fibreglass-core VIP (about 280~330kg/m³). That takes a lot of weight out of the cooler.
Much thinner insulation: for the same insulation performance, 45mm of EPS can become just 15~20mm of VIP. The cooler’s external volume shrinks by around 40%.

The 20L SuperCooler measures around 350×240×290 mm outside, compared with 420×300×350 mm for an EPS cooler of the same capacity. Empty weight is around 2.2 kg versus about 3.5 kg for the EPS cooler—roughly 40% lighter. Usable capacity stays at 20L, with a more regular interior that’s easier to pack.
